"We take our two rescues to Remington all the time, and they absolutely LOVE it. They treat us like family there as well. Today, our dogs and my partner were involved in a bad car accident after leaving Remington, and Dr. Newth IMMEDIATELY came to the scene and picked the dogs up, no questions asked. She made sure they were okay, fed them, and kept them overnight while we spent the evening at the ER. Never have I ever experienced a level of service like theirs, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We are able to have peace of mind kCan't say enough great things about Remington Pet Ranch and all of the staff there. I used a great dog trainer for a bit that recommended them to me based on their use of positive reinforcement. She was spot on with it being the right fit. My dog starts happily whining when we're a few miles away from arriving. It's like Christmas morning for him, I swear. Everyone is so sweet to him, and the whole space is beautiful. I never worry dropping him off for daycare or boarding because I know he'll get the best care. And I love seeing the pics of him living his best life while I'm away. I drive from south central Austin to come here even though there are a ton of other closer choices. I'll gladly spend time driving on I-35 (!) coming here."

"I am an anxious pet owner with an anxious pet that has been attacked at another boarding & daycare facility. This experience eased my (& I think Charlie's) stress immensely. I got pictures & a report card everyday he was boarded and it was very comforting. Charlie genuinely looked happy! I did the TLC boarding due to his past experiences and general dislike for crowds & all went well. When I picked him up they told me a little about his stay and gave me a card with a little magnet of one of the pictures they took while he was there. Charlie will definitely be back - this is the best experience we have ever had with boarding."

"THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING BUSINESS AROUND. We originally found Remington Pet Ranch as a daycare and boarding alternative for our late Marley, an older black lab mix who rescued us several years before. He had many anxieties and could not be left home alone for long. We had tried several other facilities in Austin, but he simply did not thrive at them. So, we found his second home at this beautiful property. 35 acres of rolling hills, clean ponds for swimming, vet-owned and amazing staff. Marley never wanted to leave. He got such special love and care. Even in the end when he developed a fatal respiratory illness, they provided medical care as well so that he could live out his final days in the “cuddle room” with staff he loved so much and who that literally became his family. His picture hangs in memoriam in that very room today. The Ranch is affiliated with and supports Non-profits and rescue groups. They volunteer their services and care for animals of natural disasters and those slated for slaughter. We now have our next generation ready to feel the love soon. Lil Miss Karley Bubbles is a chocolate Lab who is finally old enough to visit for daycare and boarding. We are so excited for her to grow up as a furry family member at Remington."

"I love Remington Pet Ranch! I have an old heeler with medical issues and I have a highly energetic pointer dog. They can be a handful. The caretakers at Remington are so so sweet and take such good care of my fur babies. When we arrive, my dogs wag their tails and run to the door (even my old heeler who has separation anxiety - it’s like I no longer exist once we get to Remington). Remington has also been super accommodating every time my flight gets delayed and I have to stretch out the stay. My heeler loves the cuddling action. There are closer boarding facilities to me but I choose Remington because I now my pups will be safe, cared for and have a great time. I can’t recommend Remington highly enough!"

"Our 3 pups loved their stay at Remington Pet Ranch! Like many pet parents, we were a bit apprehensive about boarding them for the first time.
We did an evaluation day about a week before we planned to board them for a few nights. I was so impressed with the level of evaluation that I received from Tara. It was really clear that the staff was paying close attention to the girls and their interactions with other dogs. When we picked them up, we received a handwritten thank you note and fridge magnets with photos of each of our dogs. It was a nice touch.
When we dropped the girls off for their weekend stay, I noticed that the staff remembered all 3 of our dogs (they had been only once), and our dogs also clearly remembered them. Even our most nervous dog was very excited and went in right away with no resistance. I felt totally comfortable all weekend while they were there (the report cards with photos of their adventures helped!). When we picked them up, they were happy and tired, and it was very obvious that they’d been well cared for.
Our dogs will definitely return to Remington for playdays and boarding services, and we highly recommend them to anyone that might be looking for an attentive, fun, safe, and clean boarding solution in Austin." ~ Jenna Parro

"This place is the absolute best! Our pup runs up to the door and is so excited to go inside when we drop him off in the morning. He doesn’t even look back at us. When he gets home at the end of the day, he is so tired from so much playing. Another huge plus is that they are constantly posting stories or photos every day on their Facebook or Instagram so we can see what our pup did that day! One of the main reasons we chose this place was because it was vet owned and managed. Best decision ever because Dr. Newth is the best and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. "I recently moved to the South Austin area and was looking for a place to board my semi anxious/shy big dog and I found the perfect spot at Remington Pet Ranch! I was so impressed by the CLEAN beautiful facility, friendly staff/trainers and most of all the way Sadie did during her stay. Sadie usually ends up not having the best stay when boarded and in fact it was the opposite. She did great, played hard, and lounged around as always. Our kitties loved their stay at the pet ranch! They came home happy and energetic, and it was clear that they were taken care of very well. My wife and I LOVED the daily report cards with pictures of our cats playing with toys and being cuddled. It was always the highlight of our day looking at those while out of town.
We previously boarded our cats elsewhere, and they looked absolutely miserable when we picked them up. They hid under the couch for hours after we got home. So we decided to try Remington, even though it was nearly an hour drive from where we live in North Austin.
It was 100% worth the drive, and we will always leave our kitties with Remington going forward. You can tell that the staff truly love animals and treats them accordingly. They are also slightly more expensive than the other place we used before, but it’s worth it to have peace of mind knowing that our fur babies are safe and treated well.
It was so kind of the staff to give us a surprise envelope with refrigerator magnets that had pictures of our cats. And the staff told us specific things about the cats’ personalities and quirks, which made me know that they were getting plenty of individual attention.
10/10, would highly recommend!

"We have boarded our older, anxious cat at Remington a number of times, and we absolutely love it. The cat areas are so spacious and comfortable (each cat gets their own cat tree and a window to look out), and we love getting the daily report cards with pictures. The staff are amazing, and do a great job with our cat. Highly recommend them!"

"I love this place! Instead of a small cage, they give your cat their own cat tree and a window to look out of. I paid the $42 package for extra love and a report card! They made sure he was loved and taken well care of. Will come back!"

"I brought my kitty Henry here for a medical stay over Memorial Day Weekend. They were able to give Henry the medical care and fluids he needs to manage his chronic kidney disease. They were even able to get Henry to eat hard treats which he hasn’t been able to do for a while now. They shared a cute video where Henry was eating and getting snuggles. He loved having a window where he could bask in the sun all day and look out at the rest of the ranch. I highly recommend taking your pet here especially if they are a special needs kitty or dog. They have fantastic staff who are qualified to deal with medical conditions and a roomy place for pets to feel welcome." ~ Rebecca Martin
